Where Do My Kids Go to School?




Education is highly valued by Utahns. 90-percent of adults ages 25 and older have completed high school, and over 26-percent have gone on to earn college degrees. Utah's kids also boast some of the highest test scores in the nation. This makes Utah a great place to learn!
The Ogden and Weber School Districts (the two districts found in Ogden and its immediate surrounding areas) are home to 8 public high schools, 13 public junior high and middle schools, and 42 public elementaries along with several charter and private schools. Ogden is also home to Weber State University. With an on-campus enrollment of over 18,000 students, this fully accredited, four-year university offers a wide variety of degree emphases and awards everything from institutional certificates to Master's degrees. Professional and technical training is also available at the Ogden-Weber Applied Technology College, and at other private institutions found throughout the area.
